Notes About The Poem

Auras

Auras contain your hues
assimilating you
as things change in your life
all captured in photos.
Abiding in your heart
always true to the self
attesting truth to hues.

Written 8-9-16 (my husband’s birthday)
Pleiades Contest Sponsored by Kim Merryman

This titled form was invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman,  Sol Magazine's lead editor. Only one word is allowed in the title followed by a single seven-line stanza. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. Hortensia Anderson, a popular haiku and tanka poet, added her own requirement of restricting the line length to six syllables.

The aura colors are very accurate at revealing the physical, mental, and spiritual state of a person's health. I combine it with my Reiki when working on patients. ; )

I am pretty sure it was dark muddy red because he is in pain with the bottom of his feet cracking. He didn't feel like doing anything. He is a bit better today. I am an aura photographer Nette and have been since 1997. I don't agree with all the color explanations in my post above, but it was convenient to use. White can mean you are spiritually aware or in the process of healing from an illness or operation etc. It is very accurate. hugs, Connie : )

Most people don't even know what I am talking about when I tell them I am an Aura Photographer. They ask me if I do weddings. I tell them yes, because I can photograph couples together to see how compatible they are. They love it! ; )

Good luck in the contest, Viv Connie Marcum Wong August 11, 2016 at 4:47 PM The camera is not the same as Kirlian however it works on the same principle. The inventor of the camera has it so that you can capture the entire body, but usually I just do waist up. It is very accurate and can tell if you are well, fatigued, in good spirits spiritually and mentally. It is awesome which is why I bought the camera at great expense and began taking Aura Photos in 1997. This form limited me so much, I couldn't really do the aura justice, but I did my best. Many people have never even heard of Aura Photography and they are not aware they can have their photos taken. Your illness would show up in the photo Andrea, but basically you are a positive person so that color would also show, probably yellow and green since you read and write a lot and teach.
