‘Maybe I could spend the night? Just to talk.’
she whispered; Marissa knew what to do;
Well maybe, she did like him; Probably;
Time to do more than mindlessly jaywalk;
For once there was no drama to cut through;
Home was this feeling, he fit perfectly;
Ryan had to stay he couldn’t just go;
This was unfamiliar, scary and new,
a tidal wave in her zen Newport sea;
Rocky was the new beat, the audio 
                     O. C.
