Au Revoir, Team Uc Davis

Tribute to all who at Trauma Center,
UC Davis, who assisted me in healing.


Medical Teams!
I’ ve been here 21 days!
You all provided for my every need!
I mean far beyond things medical....

There is something in each of you
Amazingly rainbow and spiritual!
I came here with  my arrogance and
inner fight.

You, softened these fires with listening, 
outstanding care and making things, 
oh,so right!

Thank you for making the darkness so bright.
I will see your compassionate faces, smiling 
from heavenly bright stars,each night!

Panagiota Romios November 24, 2021 at 5:10 PM Joe,,my Prince. UC Davis TraumA A center staff are extremely bright and dedicated.have worked in many or been a patient. Student nurses are aides there. There are no aides. I was never treated with such dignity in my life. Thanks is never given to medical people. Next comes Police. All face danger. I, for one thank them. Given the state of hospitals and hospital care these days -- or should I say decades --- I'm thrilled to read that you have felt cared for! May it continue at home!! The poem does not to them justice. Even met a Chaplain, who was a poet. She read one of my poems to me, i cried. Had no idea how great the poem was. That was a great exoerience. Pangie xoxo

How she dove here daily paid eighteen dollars a day, and visited 10 hours a day is beyond me.plus was able to handle medications on her ipad, she always tracked what I was given. The MDs and nurses saw it. They loved it. Hope a few poets like it. I am not dead, after all. We aretrying to get out of this place. I feel so badly for Elena, Darlene. She is dog tired.
