Attracting Opposites

Drowning death in summers night
Saddened sorrows of sheer delight
Toxic tears of cascading falls
Abandoned Angels in satin shawls

Disenchanted dreams in the waking morn
Hurting hearts of Love's first born
Crucified cries of joyful tears
Decadent decisions of youthful years

Manic madness of a beautiful brain
Barytic blood of the sweet sugarcane
Schizoid shadows against the white washed walls
Angered appetites in the money making malls

Withered wills of the sound of mind
Demon dwelling in the kindred kind
Warring words in a “peace” of pie
Dubious denial in the ultimate high.

John Lawless December 31, 2016 at 10:16 AM Hey, WW, an occasional trip "down the rabbit hole" can have a very cathartic effect. A nice double bladed expose. I particularly liked the "Abandoned angels in satin shawls". The cadence and rhyme added to the sharpness of the differences.
