Was at a hearing with my attorney She was more childish than Bert and Ernie Played I-Pod video games My anger sure was in flames Years had passed since I began this journey But my sexual harassment lawsuit Totally ignored by this pompous coot Ordering shoes online Forgetting this case of mine It was clear she just didn’t give a hoot My suit’s outcome would have been much better If I had hired an Irish Setter Her actions were criminal My settlement minimal In my next novel I’ll surely get her She had predicted I would get much more My dignity she never did restore As she won her online game My harasser escaped blame Lawyers and video games I abhor *Based on a true experience! You know what Carolyn? Freaked me out ..I was talking to a lawyer probably the only one I trust) friend of mine a couple weeks ago about some banking bussiness that was going on and I innocently asked him how that business squared with ethics.. he smiled wide and said "Bob ...business and Ethics are two different things" ...so where have we been Carolyn..???? :) Congrats on your great win

So sorry about that terrible experience Carolyn. I've had my share of experiences even with doctors playing cell phone games while under the auspices of caring for a loved one. I hear you. I sometimes think that online and video games actually take the place of brains for some...or at the very least manners. I think they have that power. good luck in this contest.

I'm not going to say fine poetry, because it devalues the loss. This sexual harassment, did it take place in the work place alone. Did it take place out with? If within, one suit? and outside, a possible other. Can the employer be held accountable for it happening on their premises? <*> Good luck in the contest Carolyn <*>

Hey you, glad to see that your still with us, how's your health? Hopefully the Lawsuit will be settled, I have a thirteen year old case from Reno, Nevada won't go into it but they want to take me to prison for something that was cleared I thought years ago, so I have to deal with Nevada so I know about legal matters and their corrupt court, I'm sure If I was rich I could settle the matter, but alas, I'm only rich in spirit,great expression in your poem loved it but concern about your health G.B.
