Atomic Wonder
The radiation has just about entered into my vein
My heart is pounding like a heavy freight train
Except this is to cure and not to harm
But strong enough to raise an atomic alarm
It seeks and destroys the unwanted cells
Creeping death to the redundant thyroid it spells
To leave the body clear and well
With an elated feeling of pride and swell
Atomic signs now adorn the room
Contrasting with Ken Bruce radio boom
All surfaces have been cling film covered
To prevent them being radiation smothered
A strange elation fills the air
As I sit reading in a sheet covered chair
A small pill will surely do me some good
Research has shown that it certainly should.
