At Christmas I contracted the flu
From taking the kids to the zoo
The hippos were a wheezing 
Ten monkeys were sneezing 
Now my temperature’s a hundred and two!

Hi Cheryle..I have a pair of shoes JUST LIKE those!! My legs aren't that sexy tho!! ha ha. Anyways, I have to share with you that I judged the first 2 rounds and then off to the ice cream parlor this evening for the final round..Your poem had a tender place in my corner bc I love children's poetry more than the other judges..I can see this story being carried out also. You drag the kids to the zoo being the devoted mom and then u suffer with sickness..It was all worth it tho just to see their smiles. Congrat on this HM.
