Ataraxis
In the twilight of the evening my eyes close
to contemplate the whys and cares of life
as I detox from the daily day of strife.
In a quiet that is deafening to the soul
I enter in a state called solitude,
a pensive gentle quiet somber mood.
At such a time the mind can meditate
and recollect the good and bad of all,
life’s gains and losses for you to recall.
Living in the positive of peaceful dreams,
the mind and body thrive in thoughtful health,
soaking up a universe of tranquil wealth.
