As a former intensive care nurse, I can attest that this reflection is spot on. A lot of depth and unstated emotion in this haiku. Good job! Karen

You surely say a lot in these three lines, Jim. People always send flowers to those who are in the hospital, even when the symbols of sympathy and compassion are confined to "the waiting room." Great poem! Love, Carolyn
