At the end of play '
Bill saw a girl..She had lots of curls a sent
Like spice, eyes more than nice' she dropped some milk from the bag she held
Bill picked it up, a smile then welled on her face, he beheld' she thanked him proffuse, he felt his knees sorta go loose.? Her name was Lainey, and he asked he gamely.' Would she have time
For a lunch, as she thanked him a bunch.'
She sorta caught off guard.? Says i have
An hour free..If thats for tomorrow, and
You can be ove at one, i get my brunch and tea at the old biscuit factory.' Great
I'll be along answered Bill, his heart going
Like a gong.' Next day all went well; as life rushed along in its swell, they got married
And all, things rolled along Bill found he was boss, they survived each ebb and toss then the kids came along..and soon
Twenty two years were gone, the kids were adults and Bill had three jobs lainey had two, and they just about made it through each week, aint it true.? Someone
Once said to Bill, ( while he was standing still ) how do you find? Married life did un-wind.? Bill did not think too long.' He answered back such..When we first started out I was the boss theres no doubt! Now when the decades have gone
I realise that the shop floor of life, has turned me around once or twice.? And you end up working your way down..I find
