Notes About The Poem

This is a collaboration poem that I was honored to do with Mystic Rose. This is my first chance to write with her and I am forever grateful to her for sharing her talent. She wrote most of it and I helped out with a couple of lines. She has the softness of a rose and the beauty of a bouquet, with a heart as big and beautiful as the entire garden. I hope to do more in the future. Thank you, Vie. xxx

At Summer's End Collaboration With Mystic Rose

At summer"s end when all the flowers tuck away
I still have you, to laugh and share my days
when autumn rolls around and heat is gone
I still have you, to share a moments bless

At winter"s door when all the trees lay bare
I still have you to warm this hearted lair
Awakened by the spring's invited breath
I still have you to love, at break of dawn

With you, as sun, these seasons have no say
When summer ends and flowers tuck away
I pray no matter how the seasons range
The growing love I have for you will softly change

Daniel Turner March 14, 2016 at 11:01 PM On this one she wrote the first stanza, I wrote the second stanza then we collaborated on the last stanza (she wrote most of it I just threw in a couple of suggestions). Usually one writer writes the first half then the other finishes with their answer. This was the first I have done this way. she's very easy to work with as they all have been.
