At Peace

At Peace A dark cloud of cancer looms on the horizon. Will it simply pass or rest above me, and shower demise? Or will the clouds break with the power of thanksgiving love, And His wonderful face shine on me? Will I allow a shadowed and troubled soul invite mourners, Or break in tears by fallen loved ones who no longer care? Whatever direction that dark cloud trade winds ride, I trust in the Lord, and give thanks, with hands and head raised, That whatever the ailment, I consume His power and my sufferings hide. May unbelievers gather strength from His strength, as I do... and find peace as I have and be saved as so many before have too. There is peace... thank you! by Martin Braun January 6, 2024
