At Long Last
Last snow-patch recedes
Chill's memory faint
Birds chirp before dawn
Windows flung open
Whites hang from the line
Nights are shorter
Days are longer
Weather's toasty
Flowers yawn, stretch
Morning's dew
Noon's sweat-drop
Evening's breeze
Here at
long last:
Spring!
