At June Lake

Reflections 
resting on the water 
are buoyant, but, calm with weightlessness
From above, the ancient moon seeks reassurance,
releasing her cloud-garments of opalescence_
Now, radiance on mirror's surface
invites a second look
at June Lake

I was born and raised in California.....now living in the far northern part of the state. But know the area around Bishop, Lone Pine very well! I'm glad someone recognized the fact that this is a California Lake! :)
