This conveys a marvellous image in the final line. Very impressive sijo, Wings. So you are of the Ojibwe! I spent a lot of time in Chippewa Falls in my past (‘Chippewa’ a corruption of Ojibwe, I think)

Thank you Joseph, the drums were beating yesterday of my Ojibwe grandfathers, the wise who dwell above in the sky, they are still with me today faint at times then loud and haunting, usually this happens when I am in a dark place and need direction.
