Ashes and Dust

In the cosmos of space and such
Floats a cloud of ashes and dust

When gravity takes hold it matters much
New stars are formed from ashes and dust

Then planets appear without a rush
In left over matter of ashes and dust

On a small planet with a special crust
Life appears from ashes and dust

All life dies as all life must
Life returns to ashes and dust

Stars die when they no longer combust
Leaving clouds of ashes and dust

In the cosmos of space and such
Floats a cloud of ashes and dust

I enjoyed reading this Sanford and disappointed for you that it hasn't had more comments to date. It certainly deserves more. The repitition of the words "ashes and dust" is very effective. Cheers - Gary.
