ASCENT

I love the scent of life
Breathe deep and smile again
It can then stimulate
And being so unique
Nothing can replicate

I love the scent of life
Pheromones say it all
Better than spoken lines
Both subtle and complex
Such joy that it defines

I love the scent of life
Nature’s way of talking
Both arousal and fear
Messages understood
When another is near

I love the scent of life
From animal or plant
No fake perfumes allowed
Just Nature’s sweet signal
Distinctive in a crowd
