" GATES OF ETERNITY " MY PHOTO, ©
I tumbled,
Hit hard the back of my head on the ground of the trail,
Felt dizzy but stood up and kept walking
Alas, the battle between life and death had just begun!
Many days later I felt an excruciating headache
My movements slowed down,
Had difficulties expressing my thoughts,
Remembering things,
Performing actions.
Eventually, I lost:
My memory
My capacity to move
My ability to communicate and finally I lost
Consciousness.
It was a scary moment for my family who immediately
Rushed me to the hospital, where a series of medical examinations
Where performed.
The results showed that a large Hematoma has been
Developed between the skull and the brain, a Hematoma that was
Putting pressure on the brain, therefore, it had to be removed
Without delay!
For four days, my family in agony were waiting my turn to come to
Be operated but to no avail for too many people were before me.
All these days I remained unconscious.
Each day that was passing by, my soul was ascending to the heavens
Each day discerning clearer the gates of eternity.
By the mid of the fifth day, a pious doctor performed a successful
Operation so I was saved.
It took me two more days before I regain consciousness and
Another two to take my first steps, regain my speech, and start
Remembering.
Now, with the help of our merciful God, my caring friends, the love of
my family, and my own efforts, I am fighting to recover.

* I was admitted to the hospital on the 14th of October 2021 but I had lost my memory since the 12th of the same month. I left the hospital on the first of November. My wife, with God's help, was the one who saved my life. Thank you, my dearest! Thank you, my Lord!
