As You Are Joined

To honor you as you are joined
these words are offered here
may love fill up all of your days
as you travel through the years.

May your life together bring you joy
a joy that knows no bounds
and if daily toil weakens you
through love may strength be found.

May peace always follow you
through all the days you share
within the circle of your love
always find comfort there.

With each other may you dwell
in blissful harmony
contented, think about your love
when parted you must be.

May your life be blessed with happiness
but should grief come your way
together find the laughter
that will wash your tears away.

Through all the days that are to come
as each one blossoms new
awake to find the roots of love
grown strong and sure and true.
