As We See It
From the mind to the hand
To the pen and the ink,
We write down on paper
These things that we think.
Feelings and emotions
Our fears and our hopes,
Our yearnings and losses
And about how we cope.
A written catharsis
Unburdened in script,
Of love and affection
Or a heart being ripped.
The beauty of nature
The power of a storm,
Our world as we see it,
In poetic form.
