As the Question Is Asked, So Shall the Answer Be
Heidegger it was, I believe,
who said , "The dreadful has
already happened"
Yes we're trapped
in the clutch of time
We no longer have any
way out(as if we ever did!)
But we can always pretend
it's just a puppet show
"Who," may I ask is pulling the strings?"
Well, we move forward
in our small boats,
To a reality which
we have never faced before
We are in need of deja vu
The spinning clocks
on the wall
Keep us on our toes
We cannot hold back
the flood
Yet we build our
small shelters, regardless
Before the final act
is concluded
let's rest awhile
on our precarious posts
we still can take pleasure
even if
it's
only
for
a
lifetime
