As the Pendulum Swings

As the pendulum swings,
Time passes with a tick
Defying gravity,
Then a tock,
Is it strong enough,
Is it the rock?
Is it our love,
Our time to share,
Our walk of life?
Wrong or right,
Does it matter?
Love after love,
I love you too.
Time gone by,
In an instant,
No delay no effort.
Our touch, one touch,
To last a lifetime.
One kiss so sweet,
It is meant to be mine.
You and I at last,
Forever to be,
As the pendulum swings,
So free.
