As the Darkness Fades Away
As the darkness fades away

As the darkness
fades away
I wake up with
the rising sun
To embrace
another day
As I have always
done every morning
while I am sipping
on a cup
of coffee or some tea
So that I can capture
the rays in the sky
and see a little bit of
Heaven
shining down on me
