As Sunsets Colours Flow
There's a fiery sunset to my left
I can see between the trees.
I breathe in the air so sweet.
My soul, tonight, at ease.
The stress of day, it fades away
and calmness envelops me.
I give my thanks to God above
for this peaceful scene I see.
The trilling birds in twilight sky
are music to my ears.
My joyous heart is overwhelmed
by this melody it hears.
This last few minutes before night comes
is the time to just let go.
To put away the cares of day
as I watch sunsets colours flow
