As Summer Approaches

I'm off once again to the tread machine. As summer approaches, I must be lean. For my ever-growing girth Controls feelings of self-worth. Twenty pounds must go before summer's seen. for the "Battle of the Bulge" limerick contest

I loved your little poem. It made me chuckle initially, but it is seriously an issue so many have. We can't enjoy the summer and feel "good enough" unless we match society's image of beauty.
