As One

As One

You walked into my life one busy day
And brought with you that smile, which does beguile.
Perchance you came to fill a dreamer’s heart.
With overflowing passions that were dead.

Charmed visions of our future shone like stars.
And lust begat a blush within us both.
Temptation rang like music from your voice.
And words began to simmer at my quake.

Restraint maintained until the wedding bed.
Where love and lust combined began our bliss.
And ecstasy invoked our souls to join.
Eternally, together we...are one.

I'm glad you was able to find someone to bring your dead passion back to life. May many dreams come true now that ya'll are one.

Dear Friend LOVELY verse. If the accent/STRESS is on the first word of the line it isn't iambic. (Last word on the line is stressed) Lines 2,4,6,8,10,11 start correctly for iambic. Correct on 10 syllables for pentameter!!! aye! When in doubt as to the accent look in the dictionary. Everyone is struggling including me! Only 2 correct out of 15 so far. Light & Love
