As I Yearn For Thee
Even though tis not worthy,
may my hand still touch your skin?
As sacred as the crown of twelve stars,
to touch you would be a sin.
My heart stops not to the face of death,
but to the face of love.
It's a face my eyes have never seen
and a face my mind knows nothing of.
Thou love is what i long to have,
thy heart is where i long to be.
Wilt thy prayers ever be answered?
For i pray only to lay with thee.
The one for whom i'd shed my tears, yes,
the one for whom i'd cry.
The one i'd for whom i'd give my life,
the one for whom i'd die.
If staying in a moment
means stopping the hands of time,
than i'd rather never live,
if in that moment thous heart is mine.
So till then i'll wait.....as i yearn for thee.
