As I Am

When you read other people poems you find...
   That those with true purpose are the strong ones;
   Those that are sick, clinging on to the beauty of life:
   Those that have lost a love one, knowing they are listening:
   Those that want to change the world, ridding the ills of societies:
   Those that have been falsely labeled and shunned, but are innocent:
And then there are those on this slippery slope, that are all of the above...
                                                                                                                                   As I am
