As Eyes Greet Each Fresh Dawn

As eyes greet each fresh dawn, man’s answers seem crude bluff -
a sunrise deemed blessing (or safety conceived as Love’s heart!)
Once bright stars exploding formed ashes to paint us
on fabric of space-time (still married to stars’ paths through space).
Stuff burned by Red Giant’s a Sculptor’s best clay source?
Recycled detritus of fusion’s failed spark forms a soul?

As hydrogen fuses to helium (meets goal),
then fuses to carbon, to oxygen, … till iron’s recourse
means flame out; collapse of star’s mass can squish core’s face
and spark Supernova, with neutron star / black hole a plus!
Religions (most claim to) divine All That’s True’s start!
But Physics scopes testable models that work; that’s enough!
