Articulation of Tears

I sit beside you
listen while you bare your soul
this is a safe place
no judgement just ears
Heart fully engaged

No easy answers provided
That is not what you need
How did you keep this burden to yourself?
You must have been so lonely
As I look into your eyes, I feel the tears running down my face
Your breath rises and falls within me
we are forever joined
I see you

You are not alone
