Masterpiece Country Cottage by Bill Saunders Down in the lovely valley where The lilacs and peach blossoms in spring Life in the rock house lived without a care And all of nature turns spring green The fir trees turn emerald, too Water in the branch flows softly By stones touched, as warm sun's debut. Where floods could be in the end costly The two-story country house's strength An inviting shaded porch that waves Visitors come in to stay a length Since now visits, loneliness staves Was Bill Saunders remembering His youth at this place, where flowers Flourished by branch, while he was rendering Ideas on his pad for hours I must say 'tis a beautiful scene The stone house in early warm spring Blossoms' color, spring green hues seen But where on earth is their porch swing
