Arousal

Arousal They shout my name when I pass them in the grocery store They stand up and wave as I drive by and glance They grace my table with elegance and charm Sometimes they bend their ways and spread their beauty Revealing a golden center crown They must have been created by God Just for me For they stir my soul and make me passionate They are faithful if tended well And their colors are the beauty of the earth How I long to see them Every spring My tulips

Tulips originated in the mountains of Turkey. I often wonder how they could have made it in such a rugged place then display such beauty. Mine are about 2 1/2 inches high now and I am looking forward to the future growth and blooms. I am glad that you wrote this one and reminded me how glorious they are. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work. Sara
