Aroma Tenderness
The heart can be delicate
Warm with shadows of love,
And sweet with the fragrant aromas
Of a sympathetic tenderness
The sounds of whispering echoes
Filling my ears
Singing their melodious tunes
Ever so softly, bringing me comfort
Healing what has been damaged
And saying what is yet to be said
Speak softly and with care
And join in the harmonious solitude
Of the empty night
The beating heart is always fragile
Wrapped with caring arms
Of the one that holds it dear
And once again, sweet with the fragrant aromas
Yet this time of a healing tenderness
I am listening…
And I am ready to be healed
