Army of Me For You
Castles build in the darkened sky, I'm all alone with my thoughts,
Pondering, reasoning , inaudible conversations with moon,
The stars shine so bright tonight, praying you'd talk to me,
The little we said to each other was nothing more than non existent illusionary dialogues.
Too loud, you say. Not making sense..
What you talking about? When did you become so....?
I don't give in. I won't let go, until you let me in.
Talk to me. Let me in,
I tell you, but your walls are just to thick to break through.
Every word I say ricochets against my faith in us, its a matter of time before my faith gives in.
Each day I'm anticipating the worst of your wrath, but with each fist raised
I see a piece of you shine through, those demons in your eyes all cowers within their shells,
I guess memories never do fade away,
I guess that our love's just to hard to push away, isn't it?
So I bid my time, I'll give you space
I will fight for us, I'm not giving up on us.
Not anytime soon.
