Army Man
The crushing sound bashing in my head
The boy I see, dreaming to be an army man
Only fears and tears of knowing that it can’t be
My boy, wake up and see reality!
Only death, comes in a world of Putin and Xi.
The hammer for war, is swinging full speed
Internally, the states are at war with their views of red and blue.
Democracy vs the GOP
The radically racist, authoritarian views and belief under the hood of church
Are at the core of tearing down our democracy
The wolves in sheep clothing undermine our values of our way of life
Yet you follow them as sheep do
My boy, wake up to see the real reality
I do not want you to be an army man
