“Sorry Tania, but I hate tattoos. Imagine her as an old woman.” She’s an old woman?… so what? Young or Old? Exterior skin art is another form of poetry. She’s an old woman, she’s a young woman…so what? Written on the body...stories. What matters is the story inside being conveyed ... inside out. Beautiful, strong write Tania. Into my "faves".

Candide, thank you. I wrote this due to someone I know who has a beautiful and vulnerable soul but has a tough exterior look with all the tattoos. I am neutral about them.

I adore tattoos... perhaps I should aquire a few. My whole body would be adorned like "The Illustrated Man", but all my words are tattooed on my tongue and it's quite a crowded territory, via the Postman...err Postwoman... mind.

Victor, I don't hate them but don't have any myself, I think they can also be used as someone wanting a tough exterior, that was the intent of my poem. Thanks for your visit.
