Are You There

Are you out there, somewhere, waiting for me while I wait for you? Have you come as far as I have, know what you want too? Do you understand my heartache, my disappointments, my pain? Do you dance without reason, out in the rain? I smile through the tears that fall down in my soul. For there's a deep well inside, an unending black hole. I've lost all that I've loved, can I trust someone again? Are you out there somewhere, a stranger or friend?
