Are You the White Rabbit
He was a most unusual creature
With his floral bow tie and his quilted vest
In this burrow, a favorite feature
His plaid jacket stood out from all the rest
Are you the white rabbit from the book I asked?
He smiled at me fleetingly, giving nothing away
His face was mysterious, silent, he was totally masked.
Regardless, I felt like I had met a celebrity that day.
Seriously, sir, are you famous? I asked, wanting to know.
His blue eyes glowed when he took out his purple watch.
He walked away, with a sly smile that started out slow.
I still was consternated, not smarter by a notch.
