Are We Computer Programs
/wake up

I open my eyes
Is there any honesty in me?
What or who am I?
And what will I ever be?
/left foot pain

I hobble out of bed
My left foot in pain
I stumble to the window
And pull back the curtain
/beautiful day

The day is picturesque
A few billows in the sky
The blueness that surrounds
Is a feast for my eyes
/victimhood indoctrination
/run program
I turn on my TV
And click the remote control
Devils, terrorists, criminals
Are endangering my soul
/go to work

Off to work I go
It seems they only want my presence
And for digits in a computer
I exchange my very essence

/males fist pump for greeting

Hey there David
So how's it going?
We strike each other's fist
Something we just felt like doing
/clock out

As I drive home
I'm feeling rather funny
The world worships judgment
And this idol is money
/age

I look into the mirror
A wrinkle under my eye?
Is the manifestation of dishonesty
That we will have to die?
/VIRUS DETECTED
/purge virus
/run program
Should I ever question
The things that I believe?
No, because anything important
Will be announced on my TV
/FLASHGRID UPDATE
/full moon
/run program
I open my eyes
Pondering a strange question
Am I just a drop in the collective
Trying to escape this inception?
/VIRUS DETECTED

Why is life designed
That when we question a belief
That those we thought we knew
Becomes the destroyers of heresy?
/AUTHORITY ALERT: VIRUS IMMUNE
/eliminate program
/run program
On the six O'clock news
Another terrorist has been turned in
Be on you highest alert
One could be your closest friend
And the recycle bin adds one more program.............................
