Arboriginal

Spring’s budding, branching arbors,
saplings to sappy seniors,
are all stalwarts with ringed hearts
and life giving leaves.

Thought it said aboriginal too, Robert. Gotta love those trees with their "life giving leaves". Heartbreaking when people cut them down for aesthetic reasons. Best wishes to you and yours, Mikki

I love the alliteration as well as the message Robert. Thank you for your comment on my Ego poem. I had originally written it for the "I am bored with___" contest and was the only entry that didn't win. Something to think about. Good luckin Francine's contest with your fine dodoitsu! Best to you, Diane

Very creative, Rob. I like the analogy of the tree's "year rings" to the seniors. I'm getting up there so I can relate to this. Great entry for Francine's contest and I wish you success! Love, Carolyn
