this book is Full of mischief, valor, ribaldry, and romance, mystery plus more ~~~~ The Arabian Nights ~~~~  These are the tales that saved the life of Shahrazad, whose husband, the king, executed each of his wives after a single night of marriage. Beginning an enchanting story each evening, Shahrazad always withheld the ending: A thousand and one nights later, her life was spared forever.

there is thousands of many different tales.... thank you...

"The Arabian Nights" Underneath the oceans' veil. A mystery lies within. Beyond Orion's belt, I shift my mind to sail. Within, every constellation hides the secrets of sin. Allowing me, to the time frame the world of yesterday. I found portals with no way out. Covering every bruise that my body had on display. Drawing along the mist of no doubt! I tie eternity into loopholes with no end. Singing a song that lacks the strength to be strong. Trying hard to swallow words that have no end. Babbling at my tongue, when one's heart is wrong. I hide in the light, away from the darker mist. A sprint sensation lurking down-under. Anthologies wrote only to exist. A place that strikes louder than thunder. Eyes that port and slow everything down. Mysteries behind, a deadly desert storm. Slaving under the 3rd crown. Candlelight's guiding a new wedding form. Executed in a thousand tales, of romance. Knocking at my door ending another dream. A sensual marriage with regrets, and loss of chance. Dancing streams with no means. Avalon, closing over an Arabic Night. A story cradling me in bed. By morning dawn, I will no longer see the light. Waking up to another Arabian Night. . by;p.d. NOTE~ I read the book 5 years ago. "ARABIAN NIGHTS."

collaborating with History is always a profitable partnership, and whe He sings to you, seldom can the lesson be ignored - " Mysteries behind a deadly desert storm...- sprint sensation.." very deft metaphors PD. -they say it is best to write what you know about, well, a Queen of poetry should possess a sympathy with a Queen of mortals - I've always been enchanted with Persian/Arabic sensualities although my knowledge of the subject is grossly inadequate my soul is intrigued with the art

I had about a year or so "vacation" from PS- recently coming back I've read works from old friends... your work has matured to the level of amazing. Your forms, vocabulary, and level of writing has REALLY made a huge impact on me- and as I can see- most everyone else as well. You were always interesting... but when I left you were doing a lot of slams and hilarious stuff. Now- I see seriousness and deep thought. Your commanding of all these new attributes is amazing. You have my awe and respect

I'm sure glad you got a kick out of that one. Did you use many of those slang expressions in the 80's, Irma? YOu would have been just a kid!

A very interesting and unique write on this poem PD. I have been off the soup for a while with a work term that kept me very busy for a 2 1/2 week stint. I was filling in while they went to Hawaii so the soup got left in the computer. Thank you for my name on your contest and Kash did a wonderful write. Best wishes for 2012. love phyl

Smile ˜ You know I Am really loving the wonderful depth & quality of Your Beauties poetry as of late ˜ My Dear Precious & Beautiful Linda * I love love & I love metaphores & I do by self & experience know that creation is flawed within many ways & for many reasons ˜ Also, I do not believe that I could say this absolute truth unto Your Treasures enough when I tell You ˜ I think that You Are Amazing & I can somehow feel Your Beauty touching My Soul especially as of recent times ˜ A sign of not only a gifted poetess but also, something very Wonderful * I look forward to seeing Your Priceless Heart during the New Year ˜ 'Sweet Dreams to You * My Love, Always & Forever,'" John!:) ˜
