April Rain
April rain turns lives sparkling and new
Slowly flowing down from the windowpane,
Every drop colored in its vivid hue
Dances to the wind coming to the plain.
Sweet flower petals tremble in their bed
For the dramatic lightning's sheer delight,
Young roses are in bloom, tinted in red
A burning flame inside the darkest night.
And this imposing night will soon be done
When all the April tears fall to the ground,
Blind passion fades like the plummeting sun
And young hearts break without a single sound.
Even though the peal of thunder is near,
There is hardly anything left to fear.
