April Northeaster

April Northeaster snow storm came to New Hampshire just before the Solar Eclipse in New Hampshire scheduled for today. A surprise storm came in April with strong winds that broke trees across the state Heavy wet snow piled up everywhere Towns plunged into darkness Many lingered without power for days Thankfully other state workers came to help Now, electric trucks are seen parked in large groups Darkness will arrive again, with a solar eclipse and snowmen are built wearing eclipse glasses! Hello Heidi, A snow storm before the eclipse, wow! At least you were able to see the eclipse. Winter seems to be a very long season. It is very windy here. Hugs. /Darlene/

Yes we got hit hard with heavy snow recently and a lot of trees broke leading to long term power outages , just before the eclipse. It is warmer now. I appreciate your comments. Thank you. Hugs :)

Hi Richard. It was quite the storm and certainly memorable! Many people made snowmen and snow sculptures from the heavy, wet snow. Then we had an amazing eclipse to see. Thank you. I hope all is well :)

Dear Heidi, this poem speaks so much about inevitable resilience and profoundly conveys about the situation of snow storm just before the solar eclipse. The incident quite poetically adds on to the philosophical depth as well, how darkness can come in layers, with secret sirens, unheard..Brilliantly crafted as always! Indeed, this difficult circumstances, if faced together, can be overcome with fuel of humanity, pulsating in hearts.Missed reading ur poems & feeling glad to be back~ sending light

Nice to see you Hiya! Thank you for your kind comment. I appreciate your positive feedback on this. People really came together, helping each other through the impact of this storm and many kept their sense of humor with building snow sculptures in April. I hope all is well and you have a nice day :)

So wonderfully described, my friend: with strong winds that broke trees across the state Heavy wet snow piled up everywhere Towns plunged into darkness Many lingered without power for days--perfect images brilliantly captured in simple words. A FAVE!

Dear Heidi, your description of the April Northeaster in New Hampshire captures the unexpected challenges brought by nature's whims. The juxtaposition of the storm's darkness with the anticipation of the Solar Eclipse paints a picture of resilience and adaptation. I loved your imagery of snowmen donning eclipse glasses, adding a whimsy touch amidst the chaos. It's the indomitable spirit of communities coming together in adversity. This is a glimpse into the unique blend of nature's fury and human ingenuity. - Blessings, Daniel
