April Flowers Spring

April, you fetch, rebirth
of spring to rise early,
lacing in verdant green,
spacious gardens, seed bloom,
embracing ivy seen

April, you fetch, rebirth.
compelling rich, nectar
nip, butterflies and bees
deep, actively gleaning
aromatic spring tease

April, you fetch, rebirth.
Easter, new beginning
like yellow daffodils
and magnolia blossoms
Spring brings with pleasure fills

I picture April on a mission to bring back spring from the depths of winter like Persephone returning each year or Ebenezer's sister Fran sent to "fetch" him home.
