Approaching Storm

Here it comes, you can hear the thunder rollin. Shaking the ground, I guess the angels are bowlin. Better keep clear of it, or you'll wind up in the graveyard. Once you're there you stay, the totem poles keep guard. The Indians said the faces on the totem pole, were watchful protectors over the departed soul. They keep out the bad spirits and the bad weather. He was a wise man, wearing an Eagle's feather. I'm not sure if they can save you from these clouds that are brewin. The storm on the horizon is on path of destruction and ruin. It will force us off our land and put some of us here in our grave. Then once again this will be the land of the free and home of the brave. ***BY Chris Matt for Francine Roberts contest.*** 8-14-2011
