Apocalypso

Death comes to all men 'til death's demise.
Death dances at each man's doorway
creating angst and/or appetite.
Death dances searching his partner's guise.
Mastering pivotal steps paves the way
for nether worlds or a new birthright.
Death comes to all men until death's demise.

This is a poem which deepens on each re-reading-- a rare quality. I learned as a young man that death is a door, not a wall-- and as you posit, the important question is where it leads one's soul--congrats on your win!

Couldn't resist the pun in the title. There will be some dancing in those final days of the world as we know it now. Thanks so much.

Thank you, Line, just thought perhaps I need a seventh line? Pun on the biblical connotation of 7. Appreciate the read and remark. PS: added a middle line, Line.
