Apathy's Consequence

With a REVERENCE for nature I read the scientist's words of warning
and when I put down the paper, I felt a new CONSTERNATION
while my children ENCOMPASSED the breakfast table that early Sunday morning.
As I sat there looking at them, I was filled with CONDEMNATION
as I thought of all those who ignored this PREDILECTION I feared,
and their APATHY as my children’s world disappeared
with the UNEARTHLINESS of death and eradication

Excellent use of these 7 words Carole, yes indeed it is Apathy and ignorance I feel that sees our children's world disappearing with the unearthliness of death and eradication. Love the reasoning and rhyme in this and truly a fave....Maria hugs
