Anyone Game
Anyone Game?
My head throbbed. It started to boggle my mind.
With such pain, I wanted my doctor and quick.
I made an appointment and got myself in.
Good thing I did. It turns out my brain was sick.
An x-ray on my cranium I was shown.
The doctor said, “Look there; can you spot it?”
I looked and saw a dark blob; the doctor said,
“I’m sorry, but be thankful that we caught it!”
He told me I would need an operation,
that furthermore, I would be in trouble
if I waited, for my life was at huge risk
if he didn’t operate like on the double!
I lay there on the table with aggravation.
The doctor did not seem to have a clue.
Was I hearing things? As I was going under,
he called for spoons, and laughing, said "Guess who!"
