Even when things are permitted by man's law, they sometimes fail to be just in our Lord's eyes. The Bible says do not kill, yet we put murderers to death. Nuns in school told us only God should take a life. What is "just" can be confusing. Very thought-provoking haiku, my friend! Wishing you success in the contest. Love, Carolyn
