Antique Deja Vu
antiquity bekons from hollowed halls
dust packed corners and web covered walls
untold pains and unrivaled passion
wearing ones heart on sleeve is in fashion
i glance through with recollection for
passionless lives of yore
ghostly images abound at twilight
uneasy feelings lead to fright
squeaky doors and creaking floors
silent howls from the moors in days of yore
unfitted sheets to fitted feelings of before
from castle lore to days of yore
i remember as if it were the day before
or is it antique deja vu and nothing more.
